- Reed is an accomplished performer and has opened for the pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolf at a blues festival in Flagstaff Arizona.
- Reed is a member of a Jazz trio called MVH. They are working on releasing a record in the Fall of 2021 and prior to the pandemic had a weekly residency in NYC.
